Valley
Toodyay:
Toodyay was established in 1836 an is one of Western Australia's oldest
settlements. Toodyay is home to many olive and lavender farms. Western
Australia's most famous bushranger, Moondyne Joe stayed at the Toodyay Goal (now
a tourist attraction) before escaping. For more details

Northam:
Northam is the largest inland town in Western Australia that's not based on
mining. Northam is also the largest and most populated town in the Wheatbelt
with more than 7000 people living in it's shire. Northam has a number of tourist
attractions including Hot-Air Ballooning. Northam is also where the Avon Descent
starts from.
York:
York is the oldest inland town in Western Australia, only 2 years younger than
Perth. York is home to the York Motor Museum and other tourist attractions. Goomalling:
Goomalling is 45km east of Northam and gazetted in 1903. Goomalling is an
Aboriginal word meaning "the place of the silver-grey possum". Beverley:
Beverley is a town 133 southeast of Perth and is home to the Beverley
Aeronautical Museum and many other museums. Beverley is believed to be named
after the town of Beverley in Yorkshire, England. New Norcia:
New Norcia is 2 hours from Perth. Enjoy a little bit of Spain in Western
Australia with the Spanish Monasteries and monks who live in New Norcia. Brookton:
Brookton is 132 kilometres from Perth via the Brookton Highway. This historic
town was gazetted in the late 1800's and has grown to a large settlement over
the last few years.
